Evan heard Tsuna's bag slam down in the entryway late on Friday evening and he looked up from his laptop. "Honey?"

"Siemens is a dick," she announced, throwing her coat into the closet with enough force to knock down two or three others. She sighed, and started picking them up.

"The new choreographer?"

Her back was to him, but he could feel Tsuna rolling her eyes. "He doesn't seem to understand that there's a limit to how far even a ballerina can stretch, let alone how long one can be held in the air for. Kolya dropped me twice, he's never done that before."

"Are you all right?" Nevermind what that could do to her career, if she got seriously hurt...

"Yes, yes, just angry." She sighed. "Only bruises, I had the company doctor double-check."

"Good. That's good." Evan pulled her close and hugged her, and she slowly relaxed, wrapping her arms around him.

"And Siemens is just so damn full of himself," she mumbled into his chest. "And Janine is chasing after him like she either wants him to fuck her or give her a better role. At least Mark isn't going to let him change up the casting."

Evan knew full well who Janine was--a particularly catty dancer who was, apparently, just good enough to be a soloist without getting the really good parts. She despised Tsuna. "Is there anything I can do?"

Tsuna shook her head. "Not really. I just need to unwind." She paused, and pulled back a little. "I don't have rehearsal tomorrow, thank God...do you have anything early?"

He blinked. "No. I have to go in at some point to take care of some things, but it shouldn't take more than an hour."

His girlfriend perked up immediately. "Awesome. Get your shoes, we're going to Diamond's."

"...isn't that a strip club?"

She stared at him. "Well, yeah. Best place to see dancing without analyzing it. Plus, the bartender really knows his shit. Good place to go when I'm ticked off about work, and you like to look at ladies, right?"

He turned bright red, and she laughed.

"So, it'll be a fun night out." She leaned up and kissed him lightly. "I'll buy you a lapdance."

Evan, bemused and still rather red, got his coat and let her lead the way out the door. He'd never had a girlfriend who was really comfortable with him admiring other naked women--let alone one who suggested it. But Tsuna obviously trusted him, and just because she was the woman he wanted to come home to didn't mean he didn't like to admire others' beauty.

Good drinks, beautiful women, and the best of company--it was definitely going to be an awesome night out.
